opinions on twin beds, bunk beds and loft beds. What do your kids like?

I can not choose if I should get my kids with bunk beds, twin beds or bunk beds regularly. I have a boy and a girl (they have their own room) so they do not really need bunk beds, but some friends suggested bunk beds for more space to dodo.
I am 19 years old. I had a day bed, when I was a minor, with the mattress that shot and it was great for friends. Then when we moved I had my brothers old bunk about 6 until my freshman year of HS when he was decisive too old.
